Financial aid is available for families in need. Prospective families need to pick up a scholarship packet from the school office, complete and submit the forms by May 1. The information is reviewed and families are informed by August 1 for the upcoming school year.
It is the hope of the Scholarship committee that persons seeking aid will be able to contribute to the total tuition cost of the program. Please indicate what you feel you are able to pay. Financial Aid is awarded on a yearly basis. Financial Aid cannot be guaranteed to returning students, but we will try to continue aid if circumstances warrant and funds are available. Please call or stop by the office for additional information.
Good Shepherd School hosts the King of the Mountain Road Race each May to raise money to support scholarship funding. The school Board, staff, parents, church and community members all work to make this race a fun and successful event for everyone. We hope that families of scholarship recipients, in particular will be available to assist on the day of the race. It is publicized in our newsletter as well as in the community newspaper and signs around the mountain, in local businesses and beyond. Please watch for opportunities to volunteer in the spring.
